The company was founded by Art, a local high school graduate with a passion for the outdoors and a knack for problem-solving. Inspired early on by his uncle, Art got his hands dirty mowing lawns and learning the ins and outs of the industry through real-life experience. With business values instilled by both his father and uncle, he launched Notchwood Landscape the very day after graduation. The company name, a nod to Notchwood Street in Butler, NJ, pays tribute to his hometown roots and humble beginnings.
Though Notchwood started as a property management company, it quickly evolved into a full-service outdoor maintenance and construction firm—specializing in the creation of custom outdoor living spaces. From residential lawn care to detailed hardscaping and snow removal, Notchwood has built its reputation on reliable service, hands-on craftsmanship, and an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction.
What’s kept Art passionate about this industry all these years?
